Beach Town Bakery was founded in coastal North Carolina in early 2014.
Having been diagnosed with an auto-immune disorder, Brenda discovered how challenging it was to adapt to a gluten-free diet. On top of that, she still desired to feed her family meals that were both nutritious and delicious.
So, becoming once again a student of the kitchen, she started to explore new ingredients, new methods, and new inspiration. Her creativity spawned an array of gluten-free cakes, cookies, breads, and granolas. Brenda's line of sweet treats began to sell at local markets and by mid-July, a business website was launched with a full menu listing and an online store.
Since then, Beach Town Bakery has grown thanks to a loyal customer-base reaching across the state and beyond. Our team continues onward with the goal of pursuing a storefront in the near future to better serve the health needs of the area.
At Beach Town Bakery, we are devoted to providing delicious, nutritional treats to gluten-free, grain-free, vegan, and whole foods households along the Crystal Coast. We want to make eating healthfully easier and more enjoyable for everybody.
While we are based in eastern North Carolina, we continually seek to make our delicious treats available to health-conscious consumers both near and far via internet, email, and phone orders (with options for local delivery and pick-up.)
